若年者に発症した症候性側脳室subependymomaの1例

Symptomatic Subependymoma of the Lateral Ventricle in a Young Female

　20歳女性に発生した症候性subependymoma（SE）の1例を報告した。SEは中高年以降に発症し，非常に増殖能が低いとされているが，若年者発症でMIB−1 indexが比較的高値をとるものがあり，このような症例においては注意深い追跡が必要であると考えられる。一般的に悪性度の低い腫瘍からの出血は稀であるが，SEは出血で発症するものが少なからず認められ，画像上造影効果を有する症例では特に術後出血の注意が必要である。発生部位により画像的な特徴が異なり，第四脳室SEは不均一の強い造影効果を有するのに対し，側脳室SEでは造影効果を有さないことが多く，これら側脳室SEにはFLAIR法が有用で，術前診断および術後follow upには必須と考えられる。

We present a case of a symptomatic subependy-moma (SE) in a young. The patient was a 20-year-old female who suffered from severe headache and vomit-ing. Precontrast CT scans revealed a large spotty-cal-cified isodensity mass lesion in the right anterior lat-eral ventricle, showing scarce contrast enhancement at the center of the mass and with marked hydro-cephalus. MRI demonstrated the lesion as slightly hypo-intensity on T 1-weighted image, hyper-inten-sity on T 2-weighted image.
