抄録　本稿では，岩手県盛岡市の若年層を対象に実施したアンケート調査に基づいて，その相談傾向および手段の把握と，その相談手段としてSNSの有効性を検討することを目的とした。その結果，対象の若年層は，専門相談機関よりも身近な友人や家族を頼る傾向があること，困りごとがあっても相談をしないと考えている人が多くいることが明らかとなった。また，相談手段は直接会う以外はSNSが主となっていた。したがって，SNSを用いて自己解決や相談窓口の情報を得ることで，若者の援助要請行動の促進に繋がると考えられる。

　The purpose of this paper is to understand the consultation trends and means of the youth of Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture based on a questionnaire given to them, and examine the validity of SNSs as a means of consultation. The results showed that the youth tend to discuss things with close friends and family more than specialized consultation organizations and that many preferred not to consult with anyone even when they had problems. Furthermore, SNSs were the main means of consultation other than meeting in person. Accordingly, it would seem that obtaining information on self-resolution and consultation resources utilizing SNSs will lead to the facilitation of help-seeking behavior among the youth.
