Perphenazineの精神分裂病に対する使用経験

THE EFFECT OF PERPHENAZINE TO THE SCHIZOPHRENICS

緒言

　精神分裂病に対する治療はChlorpromazine，Reserpineの出現により，劃期的な飛躍を見るに到つたことは，もはや否定することの出来ない事実となつてきたといえよう。

　現在はこれ等を中心に，より強力な一層すぐれた薬剤の探求ということが1つの焦点となつてきている。殊に合成薬剤であるChlorpromazine系統に属するPhenothiazine系誘導体に関しては種々の薬剤が提出され最も種類が多いようである。

We investigated about the effect of Perphe-nazine to the schizophrenics who were admit-ted to the Sakai Mental Hospital (acute cases 4 and chronics 17 cases).

Results were following.

1) We had three much improved, ten impro-ved, and eight unchanged cases.

2) In eignt cases of improved group, we found their impulsive behaviors diminished and their spontaneity was recovered.

3) The side-effects of Perphenazine were as likely as Chlorpromazine, but some cases had the anxiously irrated state.

These side-effects may be reduced by Pro-met hazine hydrochloride.
