Neurological and experimental psychological studies have been made on a patient, aged 15 male, who complained of paroxysmal mic-ropsia.

The results obtained were summerized as follows.

1. In the ordinary neurological examinations, no specific abnormal findings could not be detected but myopia.

2. On pneumoencephalography, it was found that bilateral ventricle were slightly deformed and enlarged, and that right and left ven tricles were not symmetrical.

3. Electroencephalographic patterns, when the fit of micropsia did not occur, showed 6 c/s high voltage slow wave and spike waves on all waves of the right side, and also sho-wed small spike and low voltage slow waves on all waves of the left sides.

4. It appeared that the micropsia occured by the epileptic disturbances according to the follow findings;

1) It appeared paroxysmally.

2) It disappeared by the antiepileptic drugs.

3) The abnormal findings existed on the pneumoencephalograph and the electroenceph-alogram.

5. Moreover, authors tried psychopatholo-gical and psychological examinations to occura-nce mechanismes of the micropsia.
