Genetical Analysis on Migraine Diathesis

　偏頭痛とは広義に於ては半側又は一側に局限する頭痛が意味せられ，頭部血管の機能異常を本能とする疾患のうち最も重要なものである。

　臨床的には，多く原因不明の家族性遺伝性の素因に基く発作性頭痛で，若年期に始まり多少とも週期性を帯び往々前兆あり，特に発作の極期には嘔吐を伴い，睡眠によつて屑々終止することが特微とされている。

The author analyzed the integrated datas of migraine family studies by the population genetical method including penetrance. The migraine diathesis is inherited by a single recessive gene. It is not all with the cases that all the recessive homos are inherited; some parts of it are not affected. The ratio of diathesis of a disease is q²2=0.30 and The attack rate of genotype is α=0.69.

The author investigated the frequency of migraine among ordinary persons. The au-thor also investigated the presence of genes of migraine diathesis and the relationshipbetween migraine and the other diseases.
