脳圧と所謂脳圧亢進症候群

High Intracranial Pressure and Its Syndrome

　われわれは精神外科的脳手術後10日以内に，異常経過をとつた症例の原因探求の目的を以て，髄液圧の検査を実施した。

　ところが多くの症例に髄液圧の著明な上昇をみているに拘らず，所謂脳圧亢進症候群の発現を認め得ないのを意外に感じて，その後，術後特に異常を認められない症例に就いても髄液圧の検査を実施したが同様の結果を得た。

As the result of our observation with pa-tients after the psychosurgical brain opera-tion (lobotomy 55 cases, topectomy 40 cases), it was found that the syndrome of the high intracranial pressure was scarcely observed in spite of the marked rise of the spinal fluid pressure.

On the other hand, the syndrome was observable in many cases with the rise of the spinal fluid pressure in cases of diseases such as brain tumor, meningitis, and suba-rachnoid hemorrhage.

Accordingly, it seems that the symdrome appears not only with the rise of the intra-cranial pressure but with some other factors not yet known.
