Studies on the Controlled Pneumoencephalography:1. Principles and Diagnosis

I．緒言

　気脳術は脳外科一般の治療に於て欠くべからざる診断法の一つであることは言を要しない。併し従来の方法では大量ガス脊髄液置換のため，患者の負担は大に過ぎ，又その疾患に依つては，その像は不明瞭且危険を伴いその実施に依つて，反つてその治療効果を遮ぎることがしばしばである。私共はこの欠点を痛感し，ガス置換量を最小にし，頭位を調節することによつて，従来よりも明確な像を得，最小の患者の負担に於て診断上得る所大であることを認めたので報告する。

　元来この試みは1940年Lindgren, Robertson等により又最近はShapiro, F．　Robinson （1954）によつて報告されているが，その方法は複雑に過ぎ，必ずしもその追試は最善とは思われないので，我々は之を改良し，特にガス脳室内注入の機序を追求してみた。

Considerations of rational controlled head-position and gas-fluid replacement are attemp-ted in P. E. G, and our experience are proved asfollows.

1. It is possible that selective ventriculo-, su- barachnoid-rontgenogram are made.

2. Clearer views are obtained than uncontroll- ed method with large amount of air.

3. It is comfortable in every cases of dangerous brain disease, specially for children, oldmen.
