Total fourtynine cases of the peripheral nerve operations in our clinic were analyzed statistically and summarized as folows:Loca-lizaton; radial never seventeen cases, ulnar nerve seven cases, median nerve eleven cases, plexus brachialis three cases, nervus peroneus six cases and sciatic nerve three cases. Etio-logy ; fracture thirteen cases, trauma twenty-five cases, injection five cases, tumor one case and miscellaneous five cases. Operative methods ; neurolysis twenty-six, nerve suture seven, transplantation of autograft and brid-ging of a half thickness of separated nerve graft five, transplantation of homograft six, transplantation of hetero-graft one and tubuli-sation six cases. Follow-up results ; comp-letely recovered four, improved ten and unch-anged six cases. Among four cases of comp-lete recovery two were neurolysis and the other two were tubulisation. Ten cases of improve consisted of six neurolysis, two bridging of a half thickness of separated nerve, one transp-lantation of a preserved homagraft and one heterograft transplantation. Follow-up result was good when operated on within six months from the begining of paralysis.
