I 緒論
交代性痙攣と稱するのは間代性痙攣と全く異る痙攣で左右の上肢下肢が交互にrhythmある運動を繰返す型を云い,その交代するrhythmは動物が歩行するときに四肢の運動が交代するrh-ythmと殆んど完全に同一であるが直立反射(St-anding reflex)も立直り反射(righting reflex)も全く失つているからこれを交代性痙攣と命名して歩行運動と區別するのである。以下略してLKと名づける。
犬に就いて大腦皮質の化學的刺戟によつて起る中枢性のLKが最初に發見されたのは佐藤1)が高濃度の枸椽酸ソーダを大腦皮質運動領に與えて選擇的にLKが起るのを見たことに始まりその中枢系路は皮質運動領より下り,視丘でneuronをかえ,中腦の中心灰白質で再びneuronをかえ,更に中腦網樣體でneuronをかえて脊髄の前角細胞迄下るところの錐體外路系であることが明かにされている。
The convulsion which was produced by in-travenous injection of potassium cyanide solu-tion in cats and dogs was not clonic nor epi-leptic but rhythmical movements of extremiti-es or locomotive in nature.
The developement of the cyanide convulsion was not affected by ablation of the cerebellum by which the reflex locomotive convulsion could be abolished. The locomotive convulsion was observed also when the thalamus or cerebral motor cortex was stimulated by injections of minute quantities of some chemical substances, such as citrate and glutamate, but this was not the case of the potassium cyanide.
The only locus from which the locomotive convulsion could be produced by direct applica-tion of cyanide was the excuting center of the locomotion in the reticular formation of the brain stem and the asphyxia of the respiratory center had not concerned with the locomotive convulsion directly.
From the results obtained above I could co-nclude that the cyanide convulsion was the manifestation of asphyxia of the certain motor cell groups in the reticular formation.
