種々の肺機能検査の中でも1秒率の測定は最も基本的な検査項目であり，特に慢性閉塞性肺疾患の診断には必要欠くべからざる検査である。一般には1秒率は努力性呼気1秒量（FEV1.0）の努力性肺活量（FVC）に対する比FEV1.0/FVC×100（％）で表わされるためにFEV1.0に依存するのみならずFVCにも影響される。
最近末梢気道の早期閉塞障害を検出すると言われるflow-volume曲線が広く臨床に応用されるに至りflow—volume曲線パターンの検討がなされてきた1,2）。とりわけMEFV曲線のpeak flowやV75と1秒率との間には低い相関が認められるものの3），低肺気量位での流量であるV25と1秒率とは相関を示さないと言われている。
Interrelation between FEV1.0% and MEFV curves obtained from 210 subjects is studied.Using a parameter of VRC=1% measured fromMEFV curve, results are as follows:
1) We got following regression equation, FEV1.0% =90.2-0.457･VRC=1% (n=180, r= 0.924, p<0.001)
