自然血気胸は1900年，Boland1）らによって報告されて以来，現在までに数百例の報告があり，また本邦においては1935年の中山2）の報告を最初として数十例に及ぶ。
自然気胸のうち血胸をともなって発症してくるものは比較的稀なものとされているが，近年の自然気胸の増加3,4）からすれば未発表の症例はかなりの数にのぼるものと推定される。
Three cases of spontaneous hemopneumothorax were presented. They were, 24 year-old male,16 year-old male, and 23 year-old male. Operations were performed in all cases.
Surgical indications were continuous bleeding with or without shock, and disturbance of res-piratory movement with clotted hemothorax.
