A routine technique for recording of surface electrical activity of atrioventricular conduction system was described.

A bipolar electrode catheter was inserted through the femoral vein fluoroscopically into the right ventricle across the tricuspid valve. Other end of the electrode catheter was connec-ted to a biophysical preamplifier which has a frequency filter system. Bipolar electrogram was recorded by the usual direct-writer oscillograph with a frequency response of 0.1 to 100 Hz for paper recorder (30% down at 100 Hz).
