 In cooperation with Olympus, we have newly developed a single-CCD Integrated ultra-high magnifying endoscopy which enables continuous observation from a regular to an ultra-high magnification image. Recognition of the lesions using NBI, regular magnification and ultra-high magnification can be achieved with this single scope without changing instruments. This scope enables the diagnosis of structural and cellular atypia simultaneously. With crystal violet and methylene blue double staining, stable acquisition of endocytoscopic images similar to conventional H&E staining is feasible during routine endoscopic examination.“endoscopic pathology”has“optical biopsy”has now become a reality.
