smooth muscle tumor of uncertain malignant potential（STUMP）は平滑筋腫・平滑筋肉腫の診断基準を満たさない，悪性度不明の平滑筋腫瘍とされる。頻度はまれで，子宮外に発生する例はさらにまれである。今回我々は，子宮広間膜に発生したSTUMPの1例を経験したので，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

We describe the case of a female in her 60s with a smooth-muscle tumor of uncertain malignant potential（STUMP）arising in the uterine broad ligament. MRI：a well-defined solid tumor showing low signal on T1-weighted images and iso- to high signal on T2-weighted images with generally homogeneous contrast. Diffusion-weighted images：high signal intensity, but the mean apparent coefficient was 1.05×10^－3mm²/s. No hemorrhage or necrosis was observed. Separating the tumor and ovary was difficult. This patient’s case demonstrates that STUMPs can also arise in the uterine broad ligament. Differentiating STUMPs from ovarian and other tumors may be problematic.
