STUMP（smooth muscle tumor of uncertain malignant potential）は，子宮平滑筋腫瘍の分類の1つであり，明確に良性とも悪性とも診断できないものを指す。今回我々は子宮原発STUMPの2例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加え，報告する。

Smooth muscle tumor of uncertain malignant potential（STUMP）is a classification of uterine leiomyoma that refers to cases that cannot be diagnosed pathologically as benign or malignant. We report two cases that were diagnosed as STUMP by postoperative pathological examination. The first patient was a 42-year-old woman. On MRI, marked enlargement of a tumor was noted between the anterior wall of the uterine body and urinary bladder. The second patient was a 48-year-old woman. On MRI, a tumor showing heterogeneous high intensity was present in the posterior wall of the uterine body on T2WI and DWI. These cases suggest that STUMP should be suspected when a uterine tumor cannot be judged as benign or malignant on imaging diagnosis.
