画像診断の検査目的では，異常所見の経過観察や治療後の経過観察が多くを占める。しかし，経過において認められた変化をどのように評価したり観察したりするのが適切か，悩むこともある。本稿では胸部画像の経過観察において遭遇することが多い所見や，ポイントとなる点について解説する。

On thoracic imaging, follow-up examination is often performed in patients with small pulmonary nodules, post treatment changes for lung cancer and mediastinal tumors. We discussed the perifissural nodule（PFN）which are often recognized as small nodules, the local recurrence and the granuloma after resection of lung cancer, mediastinal masses including cystic lesions, and the dissemination of thymoma, and so on.
