We evaluated the types of pulmonary vein(PV)branching pattern in the right lung using thin-section CT(TSCT)and three-dimensional CT(3D-CT)in 28 cases. Central type was most commonly seen in the right upper lobe. It is the most common type the right middle lobe PV usually had a single stem. V6 had a single stem, too. The PV branching pattern and the variations in the right lung could be visualized using TSCT and 3D-CT.
