子宮捻転はまれで，小児に限定すると症例報告は数例にとどまる。子宮捻転による子宮や付属器の虚血により妊孕性低下・消失のリスクがあるが，疾患希少性に加え，非特異的な腹部症状しか示さないケースもあることから診断は非常に難しい。今回，女児の子宮捻転の1例を経験したので報告する。

A previously healthy 3-year-old girl complained of a 2-day history of intermittent abdominal pain. CT scan revealed an ovarian teratoma on the right and a high-density and barely-enhancing mass medially；the mass ran posterocaudally and showed whorled appearance. A laparotomy and pathological examination confirmed the uterine twisted 1,260° along its long axis, and that the uterus and left adnexa were edematous and engorged. It was diagnosed with uterine torsion while the right adnexa was not affected.
