Diagnosis and treatment of patients with infectious and biological diseases

人の国際的な移動が常態的に起こっている現代では，日常的に遭遇しない感染症が自然発生的，人為的にかかわらず流入，流出し得る。これに大規模イベントなどが重なると，国内でもよくみられる疾患が通常と異なる流行を示す，疾患の流入リスクが高まる，テロリズムのように人為的な事件のターゲットになる，などの事例が想定される。通常目にすることの少ない疾患が発生する可能性もあり，疫学情報の収集と情報発信までを含めて多角的に連携をとって対応する必要がある。本稿では，マスギャザリング，海外渡航に関連して発生し得る疾患について概要を示すとともに，社会的な観点も含めての対応について述べる。

There are large migrations of people among countries which facilitates extraordinary infections flowing in and out spontaneously and artificially. Large-scale events may lead to cases where common diseases become an unusual epidemic, increasing the risk of disease inflow, or becoming a target in artificial cases such as terrorism.

　Diseases that are rarely seen may occur, and it is necessary to cooperate with many institutions, including for the collection and dissemination of epidemiological information.

　This section gives an overview of diseases that can occur under these circumstances, and describes how to deal with them, including social measures.
