I．はじめに

　高安病（大動脈炎症候群）は原因不明の非特異性動脈炎であり，大動脈およびその分枝を侵すことによりさまざまな臨床症状を生じる疾患である。しかし耳鼻咽喉科領域では臨床症状を現わすことの少ない疾患であり，耳鼻咽喉科的疾患としては反復性扁桃炎，中耳炎，副鼻腔炎^1），鼻中隔穿孔^2）が少数に合併するにすぎない。今回われわれは病変が耳下腺内の血管周囲に波及したために耳下腺内に腫瘤を形成した高安病の症例を経験した。このような症例はきわめて稀なものと思われるので報告する。

　A 59-year-old female of Takayasu's disease (Aortitis syndrome) accompanied with bilateral parotid swelling was reported.

　The patient developed syncopal attacks and visual disturbance when she was 16 years old. She noticed bilateral parotid swelling 43 years thereafter.

　Histopathological examination of the surgical specimen revealed many granulomas around the small arteries in the parotid gland. Granuloma consisted of epitheloid cells with Langhans-type giant cells. These findings indicated that the smaller peripheral arteries were involved by the pathological changes of Takayasu's disease.
