I．はじめに
聴神経腫瘍の診断法には聴力検査，平衡機能検査などの神経耳科学的検査とTowne法，Stenvers法，中耳断層，CTなどの画像診断が挙げられる。しかし微小な聴神経腫瘍の診断は困難なことも多く，それゆえその診断方法のなかでもCTによる画像診断は重要な診断方法の一つである。とりわけgas（air）-CT-cisternographyは1979年Sortland1）がgas cisternographyを併用したCT撮影方法を発表して以来急速に発達してきた。当科においては軸位断層のみならず冠状断層を併用したair-CT-cisternographyを施行している。今回はair-CT-cisternographyの冠状断層撮影方法とその有用性について検討を行った。
Corona] section of Air-CT-Cisternography (Air-CT) is effective for diagnosis of acoustic tumor.
1. Using a table the coronal section of Air-CT was suitable for patient's position.
2. The section was useful to find abnormalities of upper and lower wall of the internal auditory meatus (IAM) for acoustic tumor.
3. The coronal section showed the lateral end of the I.A.M. for more vividly than the axial.
