I．緒言

　今回われわれは喉頭に発生したきわめて稀なgranular cell tumorを経験し文献的検討をしたので報告する。

　In a 43-year-old woman a laryngeal tumor was removed, and its pathological findings showed granular cell tumor. This tumor is very rare. Granular cell tumor in the larynx has been reported in approximately 150 cases, but in Japan, only 3 cases were reported.

　Their clinical characteristics are followings ; 1)average age was 34 years old. 2) malefemale ratio was 1.4: 1, 3) the most common symptom was hoarseness (approximately 75%), 4) size of the tumor was mostly under I cm in diameter, 5) the most common site in the larynx was the vocal cord in approximately 60%, and the arytenoid region in 20%.
