薬剤停滞性食道潰瘍の2症例

Two Cases of Esophageal Ulceration due to Ingestion of Medicinal Agents

I．はじめに

　治療目的で服用した薬物が食道内に停滞することによってその場所に潰瘍を形成することは知られている。しかし原因薬剤によっては初期の訴えがあいまいで不定愁訴だけのこともあるため咽頭異常感症とされる可能性もあると思われる。今回私たちは薬物停滞性食道潰瘍の2症例を経験したので若干の考察を加えて報告する。

　Two patients with esophageal ulceration associated with ingestion of cefradine, tolmetin sodium or doxycycline were reported.

　These patients were young women who had taken the medicine just before going to sleep. In these patients, no esophageal obstructive element was evident.

　From the close relationship between taking the medicinal agents and the esophageal ulceration, we believe that medicinal agents were the cause of the ulcers.

　We recommend that patients should not take these medicinal agents within one hour of going to bed, and should take them with a lot of water.
