当科における鼻アレルギー症例の臨床集計的観察

Clinical Study on Nasal Allergy in Kagoshima University Hospital

I．はじめに

　鼻アレルギー患者の著明な増加によって，鼻アレルギーは日常診療において重要な位置を占めるとともに社会的にも大きな関心を惹き起こしている。

　これまでに各地域の診療機関より鼻アレルギー患者の増加と各地域における特色，差異，さらに増加要因に関する報告がみられている。今回当科における鼻アレルギー外来の臨床的集計を行い，当地域における鼻アレルギーの特徴を探るとともに増加に影響を及ぼしている要因についても検討した。その結果それらに関する若干の興味ある成績が得られたのでここに報告する。

　A clinical study was made on 954 cases with nasal allergic symptoms in otolaryngological clinic of Kagoshima University Hospital from 1979 to 1983.

　87% of all subjects were diagnosed as nasal allergy by their history, rhinoscopic findings, skin-reactions, counts of eosinophils and serum IgE measurements etc.

　The increased number of patients with nasal allergy was found chronologically and most of them were positive to house dust, but there were a few patient with pollinosis.

　The air-cleaner therapy to the patients with nasal allergy revealed the satisfactory effect to the clinical symptoms.
