喉頭肉腫の一症例ならびに集計的観察

A CASE OF PHARYGEAL SARCOMA

　Ⅰ．緒言

　喉頭に発生する腫瘍中，悪性腫瘍はその10〜13％を占めているが大部分が癌腫である。

　Broadbent（1861）によってはじめて報告されたといわれる喉頭肉腫は，喉頭の悪性腫瘍の中ではきわめてまれな疾患であり，内外諸家の統計によると喉頭癌の1/100の発生頻度である。

　A case of polymorphous sarcoma which originated in the larynx of a man aged 77 is reported. The authors made a review of literature of the this country on this subject for the period covering the last 36 years and found, that laryngeal sarcoma to be rather rare in occurrence; only 30 cases reported. The ratio between carcinoma and sarcoma affecting this region was 100: 1. Sarcoma is characterized by making its usual occurrence on the vocal cords and rarely cause metastasis to other areas; in spite of it being a sarcoma the outcome of most cases was relatively benign.
