　I．緒言

　現在，口腔底悪性腫瘍の治療法には，1）手術療法，2）放射線療法，3）化学療法，4）免疫療法があり，このうち手術療法が主体であり，その他は補助的に使用されているのが現状である。

　手術療法に関しては，形成外科学の進歩に伴い，機能と形態を維持し，あわせて切除部位・摘出部位を大きくするため，種々工夫が加えられている。

　A 62-year-old male patient complained of a pain of the floor of the mouth and the gum. Biopsy revealed squamous cell carcinoma (T₂N₀M₀). After a cervical flap was made, radical excision of the tumor was performed without neck dissection. The surgical wound was closed by cervical flap through the oral cavity. This cervical flap was effective to reconstruct the floor of the mouth after removal of the lesion which was measured less than 6x 6cm in its size.

　After reconstruction, oral function was normal.
