頭頸部悪性腫瘍患者の免疫能 第2報 PHA皮膚テスト

IMMUNOLOGICAL REA (TIVITY OF PATIENTS WITH MALIGNANT TUMOR OF THE HEAD AND NECK (PHA SKIN TEST) PART 2

　1．はじめに

　癌患者の細胞性免疫能の低下は諸家により報告されている。担癌患者の免疫能の測定は，治療法の選択，予後の推定や免疫療法の効果判定にも欠かせない。

　検査法には末梢血中のリンパ球やTリンパ球数の測定リンパ球の反応性，遅延型皮膚テストおよび標的細胞障害テストなどがあげられるが，臨床的には正しく免疫能を反映することはもちろん，簡単に頻回に測定可能なテストが望ましい。

PHA skin test was performed in patients with malignant tumors of the head and neck to study whether the test result can be a parameter which shows cellular immunity in the patients or not and how the test should be suitablly applied, and the following results were obtained :

1) Histologically, the delayed type skin reaction accompanied after infiltration of lymphocytes and macrophages occurred by PHA intracutaneousadministration, and the reaction had a close relation with PPD reaction performed at the same time, so that we considered that PHA skin test could be a parameter showing cellular immu nity in the patients.

2) PHA skin test is simple and can be performed repeatedly. It was considered that the test is the most suitable to pursue the progress of theillness in a patient.

3) Lower value of the PHA skin test was not found in the patients with malignant tumors of the head and neck before treatment was started.

4) No relationship was found between the result of PHA skin test and that of PHA induced lymphocyte transformation test.
