鼻アレルギー患者における鼻粘膜表層部の好塩基性細胞の検討—左右鼻腔差の検討

A Study of Basophilic Cells in the Superficial Layer of Nasal Mucosa

　I．はじめに

　鼻アレルギー患者の診察に際し，左右鼻腔の腫脹の程度や色調に差を認めることが多い。また奥田^1）らは，鼻アレルギー患者に抗原およびヒスタミンによる誘発テストを行い，ともに左右鼻腔に反応性の差があることを報告している。

　一方，アレルギー発症に好塩基性細胞が重要な役割を果たしていることが明らかになってきており，鼻アレルギーにおいても，鼻粘膜表層部に存在する好塩基性細胞の重要性が，奥田，大塚ら^2〜6）により報告されている。

　Basophilic cells in the superficial layer of nasal mucosa were previously disclosed by us to play an important role in the manifestation of nasal allergy. In the present study, the difference of number of basophilic cells was investigated in both sides ofthe nasal cavity,since there is a side difference in the degree of allergen provocation reaction between both nasal cavities. Two specimens were collected at the same time from the surface of the inferior turbinates in both nasal cavities and the basophilic cells were counted.

　As the results, there was the difference of the number of basophilic cells between both sides in 62%, of the patients with nasal allergy. Therefore the number of the basophilic cells should be averaged in both nasal cavities.
