慢性中耳炎に対するプレドニゾロン点耳液の使用経験

　I．緒言

　プレドニゾロンは1955年，Heizog，Nobel，Tolksdorf，Charney，Herschberg，Peralman等によつて始めて報告された合成ステロイドの一種で，従来のコーチゾン，ハイドロコーチゾン等にくらべて，抗炎症作用は強化され，しかも一般治療量では，Na. 水の貯溜効果を欠き従来みられた不快な塩類効果は著しく軽減された。プレドニゾロンは他の種々な副腎皮質ホルモンと同様，抗炎症作用を始め，抗滲出，抗原抗体反応抑制，抗肉芽形成等の作用を有し，所謂，膠原病と呼ばれる一群の疾患あるいは重症アレルギー疾患に広く用いられており，我が耳鼻咽喉科領域においても，慢性，急性中耳炎，鼻アレルギー，術後慢性副鼻腔炎等に副腎皮質ホルモンが用いられ，見るべき効果が得られている。

　この度，我々は武田薬品より提供された，プレドニソロンを含有する耳科用プレデックス液を慢性中耳炎患者に用い，その慢性耳漏および術後創の肉芽に対する効果を観察したので，ここに報告する。

　The use of otitic predex (Takeda) an ear drops containing prednisolon as a principle ingredient was tried in cases of chronic running ear, after-treatment of mastodoitectomies both radical and smple ras well as that of tympanoplasty. Of the 15th cases of chronic otitis with discharge 6 cases became dry by the use of this agent ; in 6 other cases the discharge decreased but in the remaining 3 there was no improvement whatsoever. In after-treatment of operative cases the use of the agent appeared to have caused either decrease or disappearance of unwanted granulation tissues. No uuwonted side-effects were seen by such a usage.
