急性および慢性化膿性中耳炎に対するTerra-Cortril点耳液による耳浴療法の効果

TREATMENT OF ACUTE AND CHRONIC OTITIS MEDIA BY MEANS OF TERRA-CORTRIL EAR DROPS

　Ⅰ．緒言

　1928年FlemingによるPenicillinの発見以来抗生物質療法は，逐年毎に著しい進歩発展がみられ局所あるいは全身的投与により各種感染症に対する臨床効果は真に刮目すべきものがある。

　他方優れた治療効果をあげ得る反面においては，無批判な抗生物質使用に起因する薬剤耐性菌の増加，交叉耐性，菌交代現象あるいは薬剤アレルギーなどの憂慮すべき副作用ないしは副現象が発現して重視されるにいたつた。

Twenty five cases of both acute and chronic otitis media were treated by means of ear drops consisting of oily solution of terra-cortril. The treatment was effective in 68% of cases, somewhat effecive in 28% and failed in 4 %. One case showed a complication of external otitis during the treatment and it was discontinued without any adverse effect.
