序言
Cupped Protruding Earの適確な訳語が無いので，私はこれを一応「カップ状立ち耳」として以下述べる事とする。
A reconstruction of a cupped protruding ear is successfully performed on a patient a girl, aged 6. The patient is one of the identical twin witn a history of the mother having been affected with an acute nephritis during the present pregnancy. The malformed ear measured 4 cm in length and 2.5 cm wide. Surgical procedure was followed in alignment with Grotting's description of the procedure reported in Vol 22, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
