両側後筋麻痺の手術的療法

　I．まえがき

　両側後筋麻痺は比較的稀な疾患で戦後の本邦の文献例は僅かに3例にすぎない。

　本症は小児においてはジフテリー治癒後，脚気，食餌中毒症等に来り，成人においては大部分が甲状腺手術に際して反回神経を損傷することによつて起る。稀に腫瘍の圧迫によつて起ることもある。

Following King's new approach to the ary tenoid cartilage presented in 1939, number of modifications and changes in the technic have been made by others, notably Kelly, Wood man, McCall and Gardiner, Thornell, Orton- and Clerf. The author reviewed the technic of these operations and performed Woodman's extralaryngeal arytenoidectomy on a female aged 45, who had been suffering from bilate ral abductor paralysis following thyoidecto-my. The result was satisfactory.
