血管神経性鼻炎型ペニシリンアレルギー症状について

　ペニシリンの繁用に伴い，本剤による重篤なアレルギー症状乃至シヨツク死が新たな問題となつて居り，耳鼻咽喉科領域に於いても同剤の注射並に局所使用による事故が経験され，既に多数の報告がある。ペニシリン・アレルギーが顕著な全身的症状を呈する場合には，症状発現の際に直にそれと判断されるので，適宜な対症的処置が行われ，その引続いての使用は中止されるが，表題の様な紛らはしい局所的症状のみを呈する場合には，使用薬剤による単なる刺戟症状として看過され，ペニシリン（以下Pcと略記する）の使用が継続されて，悪結果を招く怖がある。

　私はこの様な例を2つ経験したので報告したい。

Fujino noted that, when instillation of penicillin solution was made in the maxillary sinus, allergic reactions manifested by acute vasomotor rhinitis were met with in 2 cases. Reports on severe penicillin allergies have been frequently made and recognition of such reaction is not at all difficult. But, reactions slight in character as experienced by the author may easily be overlooked, and im-portant sign by oversight of which the re-sults may lead to severe unfortunate end.
