副鼻腔多洞手術に於けるウインタミンの応用（第二報）

　吾々は，昨年（1955年），7月よりウインタミン（クロルプロマジン）を耳鼻咽喉科領域の手術に応用しているが，他の手術に就いては後刻報告の機会もあると思うのではぶき，その中副鼻腔多洞手術に応用した結果をまとめた。

　その一部は第一報として既に報告した。然し乍らそれは所謂初期の試用であつて，更に工風を要する事は第一報でも述べている通りで，之れを更に強化すべく再検討した結果が第Ⅱ報で，一層見るべき成績があつたので報告する次第である。

Morikawa and associates maintain that, in sinus operations concerned with multiple si-nuses, a combined use of Wintamin, Piretia-tin and Opistan by intramuscular route affo-rds an adequate hemostasis and elimination of pain during the operation. Furthermore the anesthetic action of these agents is not deep enough to cause loss of consciousness which prev-ents excessive swallowing of blood and yet allow the patient's head to be mani-pulated for positional changes to suit the ope-rator. The use of Wintamin (Chlor-Proma-zin) alone for anethetic agent to be employed in the field of otolaryngology has been re-ported elsewhere.
