緒言
1950年，フランスのRhone-Poulence研究所で合成された自律神経安定剤クロールプロマジンは，1951年，H．Laboritが，之を主体とする多くの薬剤を用いて，臨床的にはじめて人工冬眠麻酔に成功して以来，今日まで内科，外科，精神科，産婦人科，耳鼻咽喉科，皮膚科，眼科等の各領域に於て広く応用されて来た。
本剤を眼科領域に於ける手術の麻酔にはじめて使用したのは，Dejean及びJauhmes （1954）等であつて，我が国に於ては，1955年，植村によつてはじめて報告されて以来，多くの人々の報告が見られる。
The auther obtained good results by using Wintermin (Chlorpromazine) alone, and it with Prethiazine for premadication of several ocular surgeries of adult.
The application method was intramusclous injection and the dose of Wintermin was 25mg and that of Prethiazine was same.
The revelation of effect was much faster in the combinational use of Wintermin with Prethiazine than in the single use of Wintermine, and the duraiton was longer in the former, too.
Patients were cooperative in the operation. Addition to this the medication of antalgics was needless for them after the operation.
