後鼻孔附近より発生せると思わるる横紋筋腫の1例に就いて

　緒言

　抑々横紋筋腫なるものは成書に於て甚だ稀なものとして記載されている．殊に耳鼻咽喉科領域に於ては筋腫としてでさえ現在までに報告されたものは寥々と云うべく内外の文献に徴しても39例に過ぎない，而かも組織学的に之を見るに横紋筋腫は滑平筋腫に比し稍少なく即ち筋腫中鼻に於ては14例中7例舌9例中4例食道7例中3例咽頭5例中2例喉頭2例中0後鼻孔及耳下腺例1中1例と云う状態である．偶々我外来に於て後鼻孔附近より発生せると思われる横紋筋腫の一症例に遭遇したのでここに其の大要を報告せんとするものである，

NAKAMURA reports a case of rhabdomyoma of posterior nasal choana which occurred in a pa-tient aged 57. Because of the slight degree in which the growth was felt by the patient subjective ly medical consultaion was not thought of until w-hen metastasis had occurred in the lymph glands of the adjoi ningre gion. The diagnosis was establis-hed only after many biopsies had been made, but, at which time, due to delay in the diagnosi and t-he speed with which the growth hadp rogressed,it was no longer operable. The patient died at t-he 5th montn fxom the onset of the disease.
