慢性進行性鼻壞疽治驗例

　鼻部から始まり漸次周囲組織を侵して軟部及び骨部を壞疽におとし入れる所謂進行性壞疽疾患はS．Kaufmannの報告以來日本でもかなり報告されており，其の本態の不明と悲惨なる轉機とは当事者を悩ましている．しかも本症の終局に於て死の轉機をとると云う点に於ては惡性腫瘍と同樣に注目す可きものがある．私共も本症に就て一年十ヵ月にわたり各種の療法を施し其の経過を詳細に観察して一應其の進行を阻止し瘢痕性治癒に赴かしめたので現在迄に施行した療法と其の経過観察を試みたいと思う．

Hashimoto and Nagai report a case of chronic nasal gangre e which was presented in man 39 years of age. Various forms of treatments such as shock-treatment by intra-arterial injections on several occasions, radium therapy and tissue cauterization with electric current, are tried. The disease is cured after 34 months of contin-uous treatment with scar formatin on the affec-ted area. Anti-syphylitic treatment which has been commonly employed for this condition in the past proved ineffective toward the cure. Microscopic examination of biopsy specimens show some degree of sarcomatous metamorphysis in areas. (Two illustrations are presented).
