吾等は最近耳性腦膜炎とよく似た症状を呈し，偶々慢性中耳炎を有つていたために耳手術を施行した蜘蛛膜下腔出血の2例を經驗したので茲に報告する．
In the course of chronic supprative otitis me-dia, a 40 years old famal suddenly developed sym-ptoms simulating meningitis. There were no positive findings. suggestive of the intracranial complications. The spinal fluid was bloody and opaque.
Patient made an uneventful recovery and was discharged only to return 7 months later with similar symptoms and died.
The autopsy reveraled that there had been a hemorrhage in the subarachnoid space of the base of the brain and other intracranial spaces.
The second case was a 27 years old female presenting the similar recurrent symptoms. No autopsy was performed in this case.
