乳樣蜂窠の再生と潜在性炎症

　著者等は嚢に乳樣蜂窠が術後再生することを「レ」線的並に組織的に立證した．その際の組織像は圓形細胞の著明な浸潤と旺盛な血管新生の認められる比較的若い肉芽組織内へ骸子型の上皮が一層或は數層をなして侵入し，蜂窠状の空腔を形成する像を呈してゐた．之れは後療法中の肉芽組織内に於ける所見で，極めて早期の状態のものである．今春の學會に於ては手術後約10ケ月の稍々長時日の後の症例め組織像を發表したが，その場合は膜樣の隔壁で出來た一ケの蜂窠を認めその隔壁は數層の上皮細胞層と細胞浸潤及び血管の新生の認められない極めて菲薄な舊い結締織とから成立してゐることを確かめた．

　然し之等の組織的觀察は單に蜂窠再生の事實を立證する以上の目的を持たなかつた．從つて早期の状態に於ける圓形細胞の浸潤，血管の新生等の炎症樣の變化も肉芽の特性である以上之に對しては特別の注意を拂はなかつた．

　The auther performed a plastic operation on the cicatricial tissues found over the mastoid area which was operated on 10 years befor in a case of 18 year old girl. The author found areas of inflammation withing cicatricial tissues when such condition was absent in the middle ear. Within the cicatrices there were found sacules and other evidences of regeneration of air cell. Auther thinks that presence of on latent iuflammation in the cicatricial tissues is a physiological process by which the regeneration of air cells takes place. Author maintains that the otitis in infant inhances regeneration of air cells rather than retards the proces as was consideered by Aschoff and Witmaack.
