胸椎，腰仙椎に発生したSpinal Lipomaの1乳児例

Thoracic and Lumbo-sacral Spinal Lipoma in an Infant

I．はじめに

　Spinal lipomaは1857年Johnson^14）が二分脊椎に合併した乳児例を報告したのが最初で，ついで1876年Gowers^11）が脊髄円錐部の脂肪腫を報告している．いずれも乳児の二分脊椎などの閉鎖不全症の存在下に見い出されており，脊髄脂肪腫は先天奇形との相関がある^9）．本例は胸椎と腰仙骨部に多発した脊髄脂肪腫であり，側彎症を合併していた．特に乳児例での胸椎脊髄脂肪腫の報告は数少ない．ここに貴重な1例を経験したので文献的考察を加え報告する．

We reported a case of thoracic and lumbosacral spin-al lipoma in an 8 month-old boy. He was born in asphy-xia. Six months after birth, spastic paraparesis de-veloped gradually at both lower extremities and secon-dary funnel chest due to shallow thoracic movement and scoliosis in the thoracic region was observed. MRI was then performed where tumor mass demonstrated by the high signals in both T1 and T2 in ages was con-firmed in the thoracic and lumbo-sacral regions.

Surgery was performed only for the thoracic lesion which was considered primary.
