  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

Intracranial hemorrhage in neonatal infants is mostly noted in the subependymal or subdural space. The former is characteristically noted in premature infants and is attributed to hemorrhage from the subependymal germinal matrix layer. The latter is prevalently noted in full-term neonatal infants and is thought to be associated with injury in the vicinity of the falx cerebri or tentorium cerebelli.

We report two cases of intracerebral hemorrhage, which is relatively rare in full-term neonatal infants.
