Epidermoid of The Third Ventricle:Report of a case

I．はじめに

　小児第3脳室epklermoidは極めて稀な脳腫瘍とされているが，われわれは15歳男子の第3脳室epldermoidの1症例を経験し，anterior transcallosal ap-proachによりほぼ全摘することができたので，頭蓋内epidermoidおよびan-terior transcallosal approachの有用性について若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する．

A rare case of epidermoid of the third ventricle wasexperienced.

The patient was a fifteen years old boy, who hadbeen hospitalized four years earlier due to acute hydro-cephalus. The ventriculography at that time revealeda large cystic tumor containing heterogeous mass fill-ing the entire third ventricle, which seemed to be adermoid or epidermoid. Ventricular drainage andventriculo-peritoneal shunt were performed andhe was discharged one month later without any com-plaint.

On Feburuary 10th 1983, he was re-admitted withsevere headache, nausea and showing markedly in-creased intracranial pressure and right hemianopsia.
