I．はじめに

　いわゆる二次性脳室内出血の予後について，その原因疾患別に検討した報告は少ない^1,4），今回われわれは，CT scanにて診断された脳室内出血52例を対象として原因疾患別に分類し，予後を検討することにより，脳室内出血の予後を左右する因子について考察を加えたので報告する．

Fifty two patients with intracranial hemorrhage,which was diagnosed with CT scan, were reviewedin relation to the prognostic significance of the intra-ventricular hematoma. Following items were analyzedin each patient in order to classify the severity of thepatients; 1) cause of the hemorrhage, 2) level of theconsciousness at the time of evaluation, 3) volume ofthe intraventricular hematoma, 4) midline shift, 5)cast formation of the intraventricular clots in the thirdand/or fourth ventricle and 6) acute hydrocephalus.
