Ⅰ．はじめに

　1818年Cooperの記載以来巨細胞腫瘍に関しては数数の報告がみられるが，本腫瘍は骨原発腫瘍の4％を占めるにすぎず，長管骨特に膝関節部に好発する．頭蓋骨での発生はきわめて稀であり，現在までにわずかに27例の文献的報告をみるだけである^2）．われわれは前頭骨原発の巨細胞腫瘍が硬膜に浸潤し，さらに脳内にまで侵入した1例を経験したので報告する．

Giant cell tumors of the skull are rare. There were only 27 reported cases in the literatures as far as we could collect. We have presented a case of giant cell tumor originated from the right frontal bone, and have reviewed only one previously reported case. A 31-year-old male consulted us, on July 25 1977, with the complaint of right hemicrania which continued for about a month. On August 3, he was admitted because of increased headache and nausea. On neurological examination at admission, his consciousness was slightly drowsy and monopedal standing was unstable bilaterally.
