I．はじめに

　頭部外傷に起因する外傷性動脈瘤は比較的稀な疾患であるが，外傷直後またはある時期においてしばしば大出血を来たすため，予後は極めて不良といわれている^1,8）．近年，同疾患に関する種々の報告が見られるようになってきたが，いずれもその治療法や手術適応の有無および時期についていまだ意見の一致を見ていないのが現状である．

　今回，われわれは自然治癒を来たした1症例を含め計5例の外傷性脳動脈瘤を経験した．さらに文献的に考察しえた89例を加え，計94例の外傷性脳動脈瘤について考察を加え，若干の知見を得たので報告する．

Traumatic intracranial aneurysm is rare lesionwhich is complicated severe head injury. In spiteof this rarity, this aneurysm is well known by thefact of high probability of rupture, and high mortalityrate.

Ninety-four cases of traumatic aneurysms, including5 cases of our own are discussed. In 94 cases, 83cases (88.3%) are located at the middle cerebralarteries and/or the anterior cerebral arteries. Thereare only 2 cases (2.1%) located at the posterior fossa.All of these 94 aneurysms are situated at the peripheralarteries and/or cortical branches, in the distance ofWillis' arterial ring.
