I．はじめに

　carcinoidとは本来主として消化管に発生する発育が緩徐な腫瘍であり，転移は比較的少なく，癌より良性の経過をとるものとされている^7）．しかし稀に悪性化し，肝臓・副腎・骨に転移が認められる^2,5）．頭蓋への転移は極めて稀である．今回箸者らは，頭蓋骨および硬膜に転移したcarcinoidの1症例を経験したので報告する．

A case of carcinoid tumor of the urinary bladder with skull and dural metastases is reported. A 30-year-old man visited our clinic on March 23, 1981, with a depression of the right forehead. He had been operated on for a lower abdominal tumor in 1980. The pathological diagnosis had been carcinoid tumor of the urinary bladder. Upon admission, his general condition was good, but there was a depression of the right forehead and strong pulsation by both superfi-cial temporal arteries. No hematological abnormalities were detected.
