I．はじめに

　一般に髄膜種は臨床的に良性の腫瘍であり，たとえ組織像が悪性像を示しても頭蓋外への転移は非常に稀である^1,12）．転移性髄膜腫は現在までに70例ほどの報告例がある^{6,8-10,12,13）}，われわれは経過および組織所見から転移性悪性髄膜腫と考えられた症例を経験したので，その組織所見を中心に報告する．

Meningiomas, even when they invade the sinuses, areonly rarely accompanied by extracranial metastasis. Al-though over 60 cases have now been reported, there is nostrong correlation between the occurrence of metastasis andthe histological type of the meningioma. This report dealswith a case of recurrent meningioma with multiple extra-cranial metastases 7 years after the first operation.

A 56-year-old woman presented with headache, nauseaand vomiting. Seven years prior to admission, she had hada right parasaggital meingioma removed and had a residualleft hemiparesis but was relatively well until the day ofadmission.
