I．はじめに

　1972年Neault　ら^14）はuveitisで初発し，のちに神経学的症状を呈した7例の脳原発細網肉腫を報告し，原因不明で治療に抵抗するuveitisが脳細網肉腫の診断および治療上の問題となりうることを強調した．彼らはそのuveitisの病態に関して，細網肉腫の眼球内浸潤，眼球内の一次的炎症および細網肉腫に伴う眼球内の二次的炎症などの可能性を示唆した．

　一方，従来より脳原発細網肉腫は多発性あるいはびまん性に認められることが少なからずあることも周知の事実である，脳原発細網肉腫にuveitisを伴った症例で，uveitisの原因として眼球内に細網肉腫を認め，腫瘍が多中心的に発生したものと考える報告もみられる^18）．

This paper describes an unusual case of primary reticulumcell sarcoma of the brain in the left temporal lobe whichwas considered to be metastasized to the right frontal lobeand bilateral eyes.

The patient is a 60-year-old man who was completely welluntil Nov. 1979 when he developed headache which wasaccompanied by nausea. He was admitted to our service onDec. 17th, when his general condition was well. Neuro-logical examination revealed disorientation to time andplace, sensory aphasia, right upper quadrantic hemianopsiaand slight weakness of the right upper extremity.
