Intracranial tumors are accidentally discovered duringoperations for neurosurgical diseases, such as head traumaor cerebral aneurysm. Furthermore, in the autopsyspecimen, intracranial tumors which had not been recognizedbefore the patient's life are sometimes found incidentally. Those tumors are; meningioma, glioma, pituitary adenoma, and so forth. Among these instances, meningioma seemsto be the most frequent.

In this paper, the authors discussed five cases of asympto-matic meningiomas found unexpectedly, refered as "Inci-dental Meningioma."
