I．はじめに

　結節性硬化症はvoll Recklinghausen　（1862）の報告以来，既に多数の報告がなされ，臨床症状として精神発育障害，てんかん，脂腺腫の3徴候があげられている．しかしこの3徴候のいずれかを欠く非定型的な症例も多く，臨床所見のみからは診断が困難なこともある．本症に特徴的な脳内の結節ないし石灰化像を頭部X線単純写および気脳写で証明することにより診断は確定的となるが，その描出率には限界があった．CTスキャンはその脳内石灰化部の高い検出力によって，旧来のX線診断に代って本症診断のために必須のものになっている．われわれは小児科にて正常知能の結節性硬化症の患者を追跡中，嚢胞形成を伴った脳室内腫瘍を発見し，この嚢胞の拡大によって局所脳症状を呈するに至った手術例と，その兄と母にも本症のみられた家族発生例を報告する．

Brain tumors associated with tuberous sclerosis are often found in the wall of the ventricles near the foramen of Mourn and present with symptoms of increased intracranial pressure due io occlusion of the CSF pathway.

The authors reported a case of such a brain tumor which presented predominantly focal neurological signs because of a large cyst formation. This 8-year-and-4month old girl experienced her first seizure attack at the age of 1-year-and-3-month. Six moths before admission, she complained of headache which lasted for several days. CT scans at that time revealed mass lesions in both lateral ventricles which were mildly dilated.
